Thanks to Congressional resolutions passed back in the 1980s, here in America we celebrate Women’s History Month every March.

In the simplest terms, the intent of this month-long holiday is to encourage all Americans to learn more and celebrate the role that women have had in American history.

What an awesome intent!

But, if we are being honest, over the years there’s much that feels hollow about the celebration.

Companies make statements that feel obligatory and generic.

Social media influencers share well-curated graphics celebrating the same handful of standout women in history.

We can do better than this, Real-World Feminists.

This Women’s History Month let’s take some actions to celebrate OUR way.

Let’s do something to celebrate and encourage our FUTURE leaders.
